For the Spring session of Loddon WEA, a previous popular speaker, Wanda Standley, will talk about ‘Understanding Paintings’.
She will examine and discuss artistic expression in a great variety of forms, from Byzantine icons, through the Renaissance period to 18th and 19th century England, the 20th century with its different schools and movements, and finally American abstract expressionism.

The club is based at Hobart High School catering for children, adults and families.
Beginners are always welcome.
All equipment is provided and coaching takes the form of group and individual lessons.

Loddon Young Farmers (for ages 14 to 26).
Activities vary but will include social events, sports, competitions, visits and talks.
Whether it be a competition, training or a fancy dress social there is only one prerequiste to being a young farmer member .... a sense of humour!

Local produce, home baking and crafts

The club is open to all retired and semi-retired professional and business men.

There is a speaker at each meeting covering a wide range of interesting subjects.

For those of us who find a full size court too daunting!
Just come along and join in, it's relaxed and informal but still good excercise!
Cost £2 per session to cover court hire.

A fun, ancient Chinese movement art aimed at taking the stress out of life for youngsters and promoting happier and healthier attitudes.
For two age groups - Years 1,2 and 3 and Years 3,4 and 6

If you don't have an instrument it may be possible to help you out with one.

Loddon Countrysiders (the junior element of Young Farmers for ages 10 to 16).
Meetings are held in the Loddon Library Annexe.
Activities vary but will include social events, sports, competitions, visits and talks.

For youngsters 10-16 years old. £2 per meeting; new members get their first two meetings free.

The market has been set up to enable local farmers and producers to sell direct to people in Loddon and surrounding villages.
There will be demonstrations and chances to try the products.
Buying locally reduces food miles and helps put money back into the local economy.
Come and see what your local suppliers have to offer!

We are not a full blown photographic club, just a group of like minded people who are happy to meet on an informal basis to discuss aspects of photography and share knowledge and experiences.

We do not have a membership list, so anyone is welcome to turn up to our monthly meetings where we usually have a speaker or slide show.
Subscription is just £2 per meeting which includes the opportunity to chat over tea and biscuits.

We have a monthly speaker and usually have a Trading Stall each month – a bit like a Bring and Buy, except the ‘bringer’ gets the money (with a small commission to W.I. Funds).
