Public meeting to discuss the future of Wherrymans Way at Hardley Flood

This very poorly advertised meeting (it’s not even on their website) is to be held in St John’s Lecture Hall, George Lane on Thursday 17th March at 7pm.

Regular users of the path along the river will be aware of the long term closure of of the path due to problems at one of the footbridges.

This meeting is with Norfolk County Council’s Norfolk Trails team and is being held to inform and discuss the ongoing problem and “options identified for its management”, whatever that means, good or bad?

The Wherrymans Way as it runs along the River Chet is a real asset to the local communities both in terms of local amenity and in its value to local tourism.

It you have any interest at all in the future of Wherrymans Way as it runs along the River Chet please come along and have your say!
